Cet article est fait pour toi si tu veux créer un nouveau site WordPress vierge par défaut sans reprendre le contenu du site live existant.

Lis ici comment remettre la base de données WordPress à ses valeurs par défaut et supprimer toutes les personnalisations et le contenu de la base de données, comme si tu installais un site WordPress tout neuf depuis zéro.

Utiliser un MU-Plugin WP Staging

Tu dois installer ce Plugin en tant que mu-plugin sur ton site live. Si tu ne sais pas comment ajouter des mu-plugins à ton site, consulte ce guide d’abord.

Après avoir installé le mu-plugin, tu dois :

  1. Modifier cette ligne dans le code du Plugin $isDryRun = true; en $isDryRun = false;
  2. Créer un nouveau site de staging, t’y connecter et tu verras qu’il a été réinitialisé.
  3. Remettre $isDryRun = false; en $isDryRun = true; quand tu as terminé, ou supprimer le mu-plugin si tu n’en as plus besoin.

Utiliser un Plugin tiers

Pour ce faire, crée un nouveau site de staging avec le Plugin WP Staging. Installe ensuite et active le Plugin WordPress Reset sur le nouveau site de staging.
Note : Ce Plugin peut être obsolète et ne plus être mis à jour. Dans ce cas, nous recommandons d’utiliser le mu-plugin ci-dessus.

Ce Plugin permet de réinitialiser la base de données WordPress à ses valeurs par défaut.
